"The Other Side of the Drain" is spawned from the notion of what goes down the sewer and where does it end up. This piece will be built from a collection of discarded small inconspicuous objects, such as pieces of foam, bottle caps and other overlooked items that are left on the street and sidewalk. They will be gathered, attached, and encased in salvaged packaging tape in the shape of a tornado. It will simulate the water that slowly drains taking everything from the streets out to our water source.
